Hi, I'm Shayla! When I am not behind my camera, you can find me hanging out with my husband, Tyler, our baby girl, Cora, and our energetic border collie, Sky. I love to read, binge watch Netflix and go out to eat any chance I get (especially if it involves Olive Garden breadsticks dipped in Alfredo sauce). You'll probably run into me in Hobby Lobby or Home Goods buying things to re-decorate my home for the hundredth time.

I have always loved taking pictures throughout my life (I was the annoying friend with the digital camera capturing every moment) but I didn't find my passion for professional photography until 2019 when I decided on a whim that I wanted to buy myself a "fancy" camera for my 25th birthday. After learning absolutely everything I could about my new camera, I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own photography business. I truly believe that God called me to become a photographer to serve others by providing them with memories that will last a lifetime.

If you book a session with me, I won't just snap your picture. I will prepare you for your session so you arrive feeling your best. I will pose you and direct you so you feel confident and empowered. I will get finalized images back to you quickly because no one wants to wait forever. I am also available and happy to answer any of your questions or concerns along the way.
